Rooted in Madagascar.
Crafted with Love.
From our family's vanilla fields in Madagascar to your kitchen, we share a legacy of care, connection, and craft.
The Roots of Vanilla, The Roots of Family
My name is Nirina Chan Wacker, and I’m based in the DMV — but my story begins far away in the northeast of Madagascar, where I was born.
I grew up surrounded by the scent of vanilla. My father’s family has been in the vanilla business for over four generations, since 1962, cultivating, curing, and trading the finest beans from our homeland.
Our family company and Estates, Yocline, represents the proud legacy of the Tang Teng and Chan clan — a name that carries tradition, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to the land.
A Mother's Love, A Daughter's Promise
My mother, Leondresse Marie-Odile, has always been my greatest inspiration. Out of love and sacrifice, she gave me up so I could have a better future.
Today, through MADA WORLD, I honor her strength and selflessness. This business is a tribute to her spirit and a way to share the beauty and purity of Madagascar’s Spices with the world. Every product we sell carries the legacy of her love and the resilience of our family.
Traditon Meets the Future
Our vanilla journey began on our family plantation in Madagascar, where we grew, harvested, and cured vanilla by hand. Over the years, we’ve expanded to include beans from local farmers who share our values.
After years abroad, I plan to continue the dream of my late uncle, Lucien Chan King Che, whose passion and vision built the foundation of our work. His dream lives through MADA WORLD, as we continue to share Madagascar’s authentic flavors to the world.
Today, our mission is to expand into new markets, especially in the United States and Europe, and to bring the true taste of Madagascar to kitchens and businesses around the world.
